WWE has numerous trademarks to their name. They continue to file more and more of them almost on a daily basis. If one follows their trademarks closely, a lot can be predicted regarding the WWE roster. Recently, WWE stopped pursuing the trademark on the name “Brock Lesnar”.

Another trademark that has recently caught the attention of the keen followers suggests that a released WWE Superstar might be returning to WWE. WWE recently trademarked the words “The Way”. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, this trademark is for former WWE Superstar No Way Jose. He was released by the company in April this year.

Since his release from WWE, Jose is currently working on the independent circuit. He is performing under the name Levy Valnez. People on the main roster and the NXT roster still like Jose, claim sources.

If Jose is in fact returning to WWE, he will be the first wrestler to return since the massive releases in April. It will be interesting to see which brand WWE offers him to be a part of. He is most like to be a part of WWE’s black and gold brand. There have recently been a lot of reports of WWE trying to hire new wrestlers for NXT. Some talents from AEW are being contacted.

This is not all, WWE has also been trying to attract some wrestler back who are currently with other wrestling promotions. It looks like it has become a norm for WWE. The new acquisitions are made a part of the NXT roster and then they get pushed to the main roster. It will definitely be interesting to see the likes of Finn Balor and Ember Moon take on some newer talents.
