Aaron Donald and Joe Burrow
The Cincinnati Bengals is like a wounded lion from a previous battle that is looking for revenge and redemption. After the Bengals’ disappointing loss in Super Bowl LVI, the team is looking to make a comeback this year and win the Super Bowl.
Star quarterback and the current hero of Cincinnati, QB Joe Burrow has returned to practice from his surgery. Just like Tampa Bay and Miami, the Bengals and the Rams also conducted joint practice for their preseason matchup on Sunday. But it seems like all wasn’t well during this joint practice.
Aaron Donald was kept as far away as possible from Joe Burrow

Both the teams were having a quiet and peaceful practice session until Rams star defensive tackle, Aaron Donald put a hand on Joe Burrow. Ever since Joe Burrow underwent surgery and has just begun to get back under his feet, he wasn’t allowed to treat these reps as game reps and also wasn’t allowed to take sacks.
This was done to avoid even the smallest injury on the Bengals ‘golden boy’. As per Fox 19’s Jeremy Rauch, Burrow’s offensive line was vigilant and took special care that Aaron Donald didn’t even lay a single finger on Burrow to record the sack. If the situation is this dramatic during joint practice, it will be a treat to watch their Week 3 preseason game.
Additionally, Aaron Donald stirred up a fight between the two teams which resulted in ending the joint practice session. The 31-year-old DT was seen swinging helmets at Rams players. This reminded the onlookers of the dangerous fight between Myles Garrett and Pittsburgh Steelers’ Mason Rudolph.
Since it is a sensitive era and the league frowns upon the safety of players, people were wondering whether Aaron Donald would be suspended for his actions. Early musings suggest that the NFL refrains from practice punishments and leaves the decision to the team to punish the player. This isn’t the first time Donald has been caught in fights. NFL world feels like he is a danger to surrounding players and should be suspended for his actions during the joint practice with the Bengals.
