Things are not looking good for star player Aaron Judge. The 2022 American League MVP is having a hard time in the batter’s box during the postseason. This has led to several trolls and criticism from fans on social media.
During the regular season, Judge finished with a .332 batting average while hitting 58 home runs and collecting 144 RBIs. However, in the postseason, the captain of the New York Yankees has struggled for consistency.
In Game 1, Judge went 1-for-5 while striking out three times. In Game 2, things got even worse for Judge as he went 0-for-4 while striking out three times again.
This slump of his has put more pressure on other offensive players including Juan Soto. The left fielder collected two of the Yankees’ four hits in Game 2, including the game-tying home run in the second inning against Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

After the game, Judge admitted that he needs to “step up” his game in the upcoming days.
Guys are going to step up. Guys are going to do what they need to do. I got to step up as well. Especially what Gleyber [Torres] and Juan [Soto] are doing at the top of the lineup, I got to back them up.
Aaron Judge said as per YESNetwork.
"I think it's trying to make things happen instead of letting the game come to you. That's what it really comes down to… I gotta start swinging at strikes."
