New York Yankees star Aaron Judge heaped praises on Los Angeles Dodgers Shohei Ohtani before Friday night’s game. In what promises to be one of the most exciting matchups in league history, the Yankees and Dodgers will face off in the World Series for the first time in 43 years.
In fact, it will be Judge and Ohtani’s first Fall Classic game in their career, making it all the more exciting. But before sparks fly off, Judge made sure to respect his opponent saying, he’s the “best player in the game.”
He further detailed how Shohei Ohtani’s 50 stolen bases record did not get enough hype as it should’ve been, considering the rarity of the feat. Due to recovery from his injury, the Japanese star is yet to pitch this season, yet he wowed the fans with his overwhelming record at the plate.
