The offseason is a time of relaxation for NFL athletes, these four months are when they are truly free and able to live without having to stay as disciplined as they do during the season. Despite remaining on the sidelines for most of the season owing to his Achilles injury, Aaron Rodgers continues to be in good spirits and is looking forward to getting back out there this season.
Aaron Rodgers was seen in Churchill Downs along with an old friend, wideout Davante Adams. The duo were an iconic pair back in Green Bay but now the latter is a part of the Las Vegas Raiders franchise. Friday, was a day spent well as the duo linked up at the track just one day before the Kentucky Derby.
TMZ Sports captured the quarterback for the New York Jets enjoying his afternoon puffing on a cigar while conversing with Davante Adams and other guests present at the venue. He sported a beige suit over a white shirt while rocking some shades. Rodgers seemed to be having a good time and the trip there was a relaxing affair for him.

Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams share a bond that extends off-the-football field
The quarterback’s completely fine and has recovered from his Achilles injury. As per the source, he did not show any sign of limping or indicate feeling a sense of trouble as he walked around the venue.
Aaron Rodgers’ happiness seems to be justified, after all, the New York Jets are actively making an effort to provide him with a strong offensive line this season. The team drafted Olu Fashanu recently and gifted him with yet another weapon on depth in Malachi Corley. He has Garrett Wilson as his WR1 and has developed a strong on-field connection with him during practice.
For Davante Adams, the off-season is a rather refreshing one. He is in a good position with the Las Vegas Raiders as the team finally has a player-centric head coach in Antonio Pierce and a new quarterback in Aidan O’Connell. Last season was by no means the year the team envisioned having, a lot of drama ensued in the locker room and the friction between Josh McDaniels and the players ultimately resulted in the team’s downfall.
