No one knows which NFL team Aaron Rodgers will play for. But fans can count out one specific NFC South team, linked to the 4x Super Bowl winner.
A couple of days after appearing on the Joe Rogan podcast, Rodgers was seen enjoying the offseason at a Mike Stud concert. He even answered questions from curious fans.
One fan, a young girl, stepped up and asked Rodgers if he would join the New Orleans Saints. The 41-year-old patiently listened to her question while sitting in the middle of the stage. It didn’t take long for him to form an answer.
No… I have played there a couple of times, but no.

He even revealed his reason for refusing to relocate to Death Valley.
I am too old. I don’t wanna live in Louisiana… Sorry.
Rodgers joked
The Saints received a massive blow after Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Carr announced his retirement from football. They were among the favorites to draft Shedeur Sanders in the top 10; instead, they passed on him to select Louisville’s Tyler Shough in the second round, 40th overall.
Rodgers, frequently linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers, emerged as a leading candidate to become the Saints’ next quarterback. However, the Super Bowl winner does not seem keen on playing in Louisiana.
Reporters recently asked Saints rookie head coach Kellen Moore about the quarterback situation. Moore revealed that they will continue to evaluate their quarterback options.
It’s something that we will continue to evaluate, obviously. It’s like every other position on our roster. We are always looking to get better and compete in the best way that we possibly can. So, we’ll continue to evaluate it.

What is Aaron Rodgers’ record against the Saints?
Rodgers entered the NFL with the Green Bay Packers in 2005 as Brett Favre’s protégé. He appeared in three games and threw a total of nine passes. One of them was against the Saints.

However, Rodgers didn’t need to do much in the game. Favre already destroyed the Saints 52-3.
From then on, in his next two decades of NFL career, he played six times against the Saints. Rodgers completed 146 passes for 1713 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions with a passer rating of 95.7 while taking a total of 9 sacks. His record against the Saints is 4 wins and 3 losses with a .571 win ratio.
Rodgers hints at his next destination
While the Saints may be out of the running to sign Rodgers, the Steelers aren’t because the 4x NFL MVP dropped a cryptic hint that he is ready to wear the black and gold of the Pittsburgh franchise.
At the concert, another fan asked Rodgers whether he would ever consider playing for the Chicago Bears. He gave a cryptic reply to her inquiry.
I believe there’s a team that might play in Chicago this year, a road trip. I love Chicago, though, way more than they love me. It’s been a great relationship, all one way.

Everyone knows the history between Rodgers and the Bears. His record against the Packers’ NFC North rival is 24-5.
The Steelers are scheduled to face the Bears in week 12. If Rodgers signs for the Steelers, he will play against another of his former teams. On the opening day of the 2025-26 NFL season, the Steelers will travel to New York and play the Jets at MetLife Stadium.
It’s a place very familiar to Rodgers. He spent the last two years of his life with the Gang Green. However, Rodgers tore his Achilles in his first year and spent the entire season in rehab. In year two, he only won five games and finished with 368 completions for 3897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions before being released.
