The Gen-Z might want to listen to what Randall Cobb has to say about becoming a father of a baby boy. The New York Jets wide receiver received some wisdom from his former Green Bay Packers teammate James Jones and shared the same recently.

During a segment of Barstool Sports’ ‘Bussing With the Boys podcast with Will Compton and Taylor Lewan, Cobb disclosed the secret behind fathering three boys with wife Aiyda Ghahramani whom he married in 2012.

James Jones always told me. He got two boys. He was like two to the left, two to the right, down the middle, and leave the drizzle. That’s how you get boys.
Randall Cobb said with a bashful look on his face

Lewan retorted that the only thing he understood was the ‘down the middle and leave the drizzle’ part of the riddle. He further questioned the logic behind ‘two to the left and two to the right’ to which Cobb could only laugh with Crompton.

Besides the light-hearted jokes, the trio of Cobb, Crompton, and Lewan also focused on serious subjects. Being a 14-year veteran of the NFL, Cobb has seen the good and the bad of the gridiron.

The 33-year-old, still contracted with the Jets, plans to continue a bit longer now that Aaron Rodgers is finally back to full fitness. When the Super Bowl winner joined the Big Apple franchise, HBO announced that the team would be the main feature of the 2023 Hard Knocks.

A pregnant Aiyda was also part of the show, and shortly after welcomed their child into the world. Cobb hopes all three of the boys would follow in his footsteps and live their dream but at the same time, he doesn’t want them to play football.

I would love for them to follow my footsteps, [but] I also don't want my kids to play football either. Like I'm trying to push them to soccer or tennis or golf. I took all the hits [and] I took all that possible CTE, so y'all could go do something else.
Randall Cobb said

The former Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys playmaker sounded worried. He knows that the majority of football players in the NFL are prone to Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy or CTE. He’s fine with his boys playing football in school, but never as professionals.

Like they can play flag [school football]. That's my personal opinion.

The Maryville, Tennessee native’s three sons are Caspian Cyrus (6 years old the oldest), Cade Rumi (4 years old), and Chance Atlas (the youngest).
