Aaron Rodgers and Terry Bradshaw got off on the wrong foot earlier this year. Bradshaw disliked that Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan waited for Rodgers to say yes to the quarterback job instead of signing another player who is not 41.
Rodgers delayed signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers as he was busy sorting out household issues. In the meantime, Bradshaw advised the Steelers coaching team to look for a different player. He wanted Rodgers to stay in California and forget about playing in Pittsburgh.
That guy needs to stay in California. Go somewhere and chew on bark and whisper to the gods out there.
Terry Bradshaw said in May
On June 6, the Steelers signed Rodgers to a one-year deal, as he may retire after the 2025 season.
NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt visited the Steelers’ training camp at St. Vincent College on Saturday and asked Rodgers to comment on Bradshaw’s remarks. Rodgers calmly replied, “I whisper to the gods every single day.”
Terry’s a legend. He’s an absolute legend. He won four Super Bowls. He’s had a legendary career in the media. But Terry, like a lot of people, doesn’t know me.

Rodgers understands his image on social media is that of a controversial individual. The articles, videos, and memes fuel more fire in the already lit flame of misinformation.
I’d love to get to know Terry on a deeper level if he’s open to it. And maybe we can go chew some bark or whatever the hell he’s talking about together.

Steelers insider for ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, Mark Kaboly, shared similar views about Rodgers as Bradshaw. In a recent tweet, Kaboly explained that his ignorance was shattered after interviewing the 4-time NFL MVP.
I’ve talked to Aaron Rodgers a couple of times since he signed, and in every encounter, he comes across as a personable and down-to-earth guy. I always have and always will say that you need to make your own decisions about people and not what other people might say about a person.

Perhaps Bradshaw needs to spend some time with Rodgers to get to know him better.
Aaron Rodgers credited Terry Bradshaw for his contributions to football
Bradshaw won 4 Super Bowls during the era of the Steel Curtain (Joe Greene, L.C. Greenwood, Ernie Holmes, and Dwight White). He is part of both the Steelers and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

From Rodgers’ point of view, players such as Bradshaw, Bart Starr (Packers), Troy Aikman (Cowboys), Steve Young (49ers), and his mentor Brett Favre paved the way for quarterbacks of his generation.
We’re standing on the backs of those guys. It’s because of how they played and how they carried themselves that we’re able to have this opportunity to still play this great game, to get paid really well, and to set ourselves up for our future.

Rodgers chose the Steelers as his next team because the Pittsburgh franchise is one of the few blue-chip organizations like the Packers, Cowboys, or the 49ers, where every player dreams of playing.
Tomlin must aim for a better regular-season finish than last season. The Steelers have not won a postseason game since 2016. Rodgers can help change that count.
DK Metcalf, Darius Slay Jr., Jonnu Smith, and Jalen Ramsey became the newest recruits aside from Rodgers. More recently, they extended pass rusher TJ Watt’s contract to secure the defense.
