Aaron Rodgers and Jets create HISTORY of the wrong sort after disastrous loss to Patriots
New York Jets and Aaron Rodgers are staring at a tumultuous off-season if they do not win their remaining nine games.

With nine games left in their NFL season, the New York Jets are on the verge of having one of the most disappointing campaigns ever. Despite having the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Garrett Wilson and a good defense, the team are sitting at 2-6 after their disastrous loss to the New England Patriots.
Prior to the Patriots game, some suggested that the legacy of Aaron Rodgers was on the line. If the Jets do lose to one of the worst teams in the league, the conversations surrounding his greatness would take a major hit. Fast forward to now and many have already left the Jets bandwagon.
They feel that the 40-year-old has destroyed any good that the team was building up until his arrival. Instead, the team is on the verge of exploding and could result in the worst rebuilding period for any franchise.
But the Jets did show some fight in the game against the Patriots. That fight saw both the offense and defense combine to create history. Analyst Dan Orlovsky shared on his X account how the Jets are the only team to possess that record.
Scored 20+ points

Didn’t turn it over
Allowed fewer than 250 yards
In NFL history, teams are 750-1 (including playoffs) when generating that box score.
The only loss is the Jets yesterday.
As it is inconceivable for an NFL team to do both and still lose. Scoring 20+ points is a norm nowadays. But when your defense restricts the opposition to less than 250 yards, it is a perfect combination of exceptional play from both sides. But they still lost that too to the hapless New England Patriots.
Aaron Rodgers has to save his legacy by winning remaining games
The New York Jets have nine games remaining. With their current record, the only way they can turn it around is if they win all nine of them. Win all and they could sneak into the playoffs, provided other teams falter.
But in those remaining games, they will face teams who themselves want to win and save their seasons. Therefore, Aaron Rodgers and his ‘friends’ will have a daunting task in trying to win games. Those teams will also know that the Jets are brittle and can fold if pressure in the right way.
If the New England Patriots can do it, so can all those other teams. In fact, the two Florida-based teams, the Miami Dolphins and the Jacksonville Jaguars, are more confident of turning their season around than the Jets. Even though they have similar records to the Jets, Gang Green has a tough task at hand.
