Aaron Rodgers’ four snaps during the 2023 season were enough for him to squeeze into the NFL’s Top 100 players list. The news left football fans scratching their heads.

On Monday, NFL.com released its best 100 NFL players list. A lot of players moved up the ladder, while several saw their stock plummet after a bad season.

However, there’s one player most football connoisseurs never expected to be part of the specific group of players. 40-year-old Aaron Rodgers missed the entire season after tearing his Achilles on the opening day and yet he found himself in the 92nd spot on the list.

Football fans on social media question Aaron Rodgers’ inclusion in the NFL’s Top 100 Players list

Aaron Rodgers is a first-ballot Hall of Famer because of his illustrious career, laden with individual and team accolades. He has won a Super Bowl while playing for the Packers, along with a 4-time NFL MVP, 10 Pro Bowl selections, a 4-time NFL passing leader, and a 2-time NFL passing touchdown leader.

Even with those honors, fans questioned Rodgers’ inclusion in the Top 100 NFL players’ list. Usually, the NFL committee compiles the list based on the player’s performance in the recently completed season. However, Rodgers was in rehab from start to finish, so in their view, he should not be on the list at all.

Aaron Rodgers had plans to win 2 Super Bowls with the Jets

The Jets signed Rodgers with the goal of winning the Super Bowl someday—a feat they haven’t managed since Joe Namath in 1969. His untimely injury forced them to delay that vision for another year.

During a recent sitdown with the Barstool boys on Pardon May Take, Rodgers revealed he has aspirations to play a few more years in the Big Apple, win 2 Super Bowls, and then hang up his boots.

I wanted to do two good ones to give us a chance to retire a Jet [and] win two Super Bowls.

With Rodgers back in the picture once again, the Jets can dream of winning the Lombardi Trophy once again, and as per USA Today’s prediction, the Jets will dominate the NFC, reaching the later stages of the playoffs.

Analyst Warren Sharp deduced that the Jets have the 4th easiest NFL schedule in 2024. They begin their campaign against last season’s Super Bowl finalists, the San Francisco 49ers.
