The New York Jets faced the San Francisco 49ers on September 10th. They lost 32-19 after being dominated in the latter half of the match. WWE commentator Michael Cole has made it no secret that he is a huge fan of the team. Recently, he received massive praise from the team’s quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers recently appeared as a guest on The Pat McAfee Show, where the two discussed the aforementioned game. During the show, Michael Cole texted McAfee, saying that the Jets were “f*cked again.” When the sports analyst brought up his former commentary partner, the NFL quarterback referred to him as a legend.

It is no secret that McAfee formed a very close relationship with the Voice of WWE during their time as co-commentators. The 37-year-old joined the Raw commentary desk at the Royal Rumble. After that, he was a regular member of the red brand until August. He has also made special guest appearances on the commentary table in the past, such as at Royal Rumble 2023. Cole often broke out in laughter, and it was evident that he had a great time while joined by the sports journalist.

The New York Jets have actually teamed up with several WWE superstars in the past. Wrestlers such as Bayley, Curt Hawkins, and The Big Show all attended an event called the New York Jets Kids Day at Metlife Stadium, where they took photos with fans, met some of the players, and helped sound the Jets’ air-raid siren to start the game.

Michael Cole expresses his excitement to see Chelsea Green being thrown into a dumpster

Chelsea Green and Michin have been building up a feud on SmackDown over the past few weeks. The two superstars will go head-to-head in a dumpster match in two weeks in Nashville. The stipulation features no disqualifications, no count-outs, and no pinfalls or submissions. The only way to win is by throwing one’s opponent into a dumpster and closing the lid.

This stipulation came about after Green hit her rival with an Unpretty-her on a trash can a few weeks ago on SmackDown. The latest episode of the blue brand also featured a montage of The Hot Mess preparing for her match.

After the montage, the 55-year-old was seen excitedly jumping out of his chair and hitting the announcer’s table at the prospect of Green being dumped into a dumpster. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion penned down her frustration in a post on X and proclaimed that she hated Cole.
