Aaron Rodgers seldom lets information regarding his private life slip into the public domain. Despite the consistent media attention upon him, Rodgers never caves; he manages to keep things under wraps and only reveals details when the time is right. Recently, the quarterback has been enjoying his time away from the NFL.
While his fans remain curious about his next move, Aaron Rodgers is busy living his best life, continuing to make his weekly appearances on the Pat McAfee Show and keeping his annual streak of attending the Kentucky Derby alive. It was no surprise to see the four-time MVP at the event, but one accessory on his left hand had fans curious.
Aaron Rodgers was seen wearing a ring on the index finger of his left hand, the finger around which an engagement ring goes. This sight took fans aback as the quarterback had not been engaged since he broke things off with fiancee Shailene Woodley in 2022. Since then, he was linked to a woman named ‘Blu of Earth’ briefly before going back to the single life.
However, he piqued the interest of fans last December when he revealed that he was in a relationship with a woman named Brittani on the Pat McAfee Show. The quarterback explained he had no intention of revealing her face and more details of her identity to the world because his girlfriend preferred to stay out of the spotlight and did not have a social media presence, either. Last month, he happened to mention that the present relationship was ‘serious.’

If this is the case, then it could mean that Rodgers was already engaged or anticipated the relationship to head in that direction. The speculation began after the future Hall of Fame quarterback was seen with a dark-colored band around his ring finger at the 2025 Barnstable Brown Gala in Louisville.
Pat McAfee and AJ Hawk plead ignorance regarding Aaron Rodgers’ marital status
The details of his private life are known to a select few. After the video went viral and rumors surrounding his marital status began to make the rounds on social media, Pat McAfee and AJ Hawk, his closest friends from the NFL, addressed the situation. In this case, both of them are in the same boat as his fans because the quarterback has not mentioned anything about being engaged to them.

AJ Hawk addressed the video on the Pat McAfee Show and stated that the quarterback is in a great place mentally, however, he does not know if that is because he is engaged.
It was not a wedding party from what we knew. All of us were a bit surprised he showed up as well. To tell you the truth, I don’t know, I don’t know if I have any answers for you when it comes to that situation. He’s very private and mysterious when it comes to things like that, and this is definitely one of them…He seems very happy, he’s doing very well, looks good physically, and mentally but not a lot of clarity on this situation.
AJ Hawk said
Hawk said regarding Rodgers’ marital status. The ring caught Rodgers’ friends off guard as well, with it being the highlight of the weekend. Despite the persistent questioning by his friends, Rodgers never admitted anything. There is a possibility that the quarterback did reveal the news to his close kin but asked them to keep it anonymous until he made a public announcement regarding the same.
Engaged or not, it is good to see Aaron Rodgers happy and enjoying himself. While his fans continue to ponder his future in the NFL, Rodgers remains nonchalant. Speculations of him joining the Pittsburgh Steelers have made rounds the entire off-season, with him having visited the team’s facility twice, yet he has not signed a contract.
