A few weeks before to the trade deadline, the Los Angeles Lakers executed a stunning transaction to acquire Luka Doncic. Everyone else in the NBA was taken aback by the transaction. The Lakers were expected to contend for a championship this season as a result of that move. Rather, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated Los Angeles in the opening round of the playoffs.
Now, this leaves Doncic and Co. ahead of one of the most important offseasons for the franchise. Especially for Doncic, as he bids to get in much better shape to contend for the title next year. Doncic’s lack of input in defense was one of the major reasons the Lakers fell short during the Playoffs. It was hoped that spending time with LeBron James would help him form healthier habits.
James puts forth more effort than anyone else in the NBA to keep his physique in good condition. Now, in a stunning revelation, Doncic will be on James’ (Mind The Game) podcast with Steve Nash, so maybe Lakers fans will learn more about their bond soon. In addition, the NBA community is also excited about Doncic’s appearance on the podcast, as he could also talk about the dramatic trade deal.

Lakers fans should be anticipating the release of the episode that features Doncic, which airs on Sunday. James may bring up some of the media criticism directed at Doncic. James is the only person who knows how to handle media criticism. Even though he hasn’t had a significant scandal in his more than two decades in the NBA, he is nevertheless scrutinized every season.
It will be fascinating to hear Doncic’s thoughts on the game, which will take up a large portion of the podcast. Few players have the same perspective on the game as the three men on this podcast. The Lakers are counting on James and Doncic to guide the squad to a championship next year. With James on the team, their chances of winning another championship are dwindling.

Fans seldom get to hear a guy of Luka’s caliber of skill on a podcast, much less one that has LeBron. Doncic averaged 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game following his trade to the Lakers. However, he would have liked a better ending in his debut season with the Lakers. Now, it will be interesting to watch how Doncic and Co. bounce back in the upcoming season.
Knicks star Jalen Brunson is on the verge of surpassing Luka Doncic for a unique playoff record
New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson has been a sensation for his side this NBA season, leading them to the Western Conference Finals in the process. However, Luka Doncic has always been regarded as the real superstar and has a higher rating than the other players. Additionally, he has emerged as perhaps his generation’s best playoff player.
Brunson, who has guided the Knicks to their first Conference Finals in 25 years, is not far behind, though. And by becoming their top scorer in the playoffs, he has accomplished this. As of the right moment, JB has 1,682 points in the playoffs. With a pivotal Game 6 approaching, this puts him just 15 points behind his former teammate.
Most playoff points by a guard since 2020:

Doncic has only scored 1,697 points in the playoffs despite his valiant efforts. Brunson will surpass Doncic if he receives even half of what he has been averaging this postseason. This will see Brunson achieve a unique playoff record over Doncic by a guard since 2020.
