Andy Murray is one of the all-time tennis greats. He is an Olympic gold medalist and a member of the ‘Big Four.’ However, the Scot’s brush with injuries have put a damper on his form.
Even when he was in his prime, Murray, not unlike other players, suffered some devastating losses. In a chat on Twitch with Gael Monfils, Murray revealed about his most emphatic loss on the ATP tour.
“Felt embarrassed on court,” says Murray on loss to Federer

Murray stated that Roger would be the hardest player to beat. He recalled his own loss of 6-0, 6-1 against him in the ATP Finals in 2014. “It was absolutely horrible-ugly,” he added.
Andy recalled that this clash didn’t pan out to competitive and was “pretty much done in an hour.”
He further added, “I felt a little embarrassed on the court. I was down 6-0, 5-0 and I managed to win a game and lost 6-0, 6-1.” The Grand Slam champion added that he was embarrassed even when he won a singel game.
“The match was over, the match was done!” he exclaimed.
This loss was especially difficult to shrug off as “there was a lot of people that came to watch” the match in the O2 arena.
