Florian Plettenberg has reported that AC Milan are in negotiations with Chelsea regarding the transfer of Joao Felix to the San Siro. The Serie A side wants to sign the Portugal international as a replacement for Alvaro Morata. The future of Felix is unclear as he has fallen out of favor under Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.
Felix has scored one in 12 matches so far in the Premier League 2024/2025 season. Overall, his goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.25. Moreover, Felix’s total G/A (goals + assists) is two for this season. His goal involvement equates to 0.5 per 90 minutes. He has appeared in 12 matches this season in the Premier League, playing a total of 363 minutes.
The stats reflect that the player has not been a regular on the first team for the Blues. Hence, he is looking for a move away from the Stamford Bridge. Aston Villa were close to securing a loan move for the player, but the Blues are blocking the move. They see Villa as a threat to their position in the top four when the season ends.
