AC Milan take on Manchester United while Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur get favorable draws
Manchester United last won the Europa League under Jose Mourinho in 2017 and will be aiming to win the trophy once again

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be ready to face his former employers as AC Milan and Manchester United were drawn against each other in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League. It has to be said that is a downgrade as we’ve all been used to seeing AC Milan with its galaxy of stars and Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United duke it out in the Champions League. Arsenal will be getting a chance at revenge against Greek side Olympiakos after having been knocked out by them last season in the Europa League.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will be favoring an easy entrance to the quarterfinals

The way these North London teams have been playing, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur can be expected to go deep into the Europa League this season. Arsenal take on Greek side Olympiakos while Tottenham Hotspur face Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in a two-legged tie. Arsenal qualified for the Round of 16 after having to be rescued by 19 year old Bukayo Saka against Benfica while Tottenham Hotspur built on their 4-1 lead with a 4-0 win over Austrian side Wolsberg.

However the point of attraction will definitely be the match of AC Milan and Manchester United as two fallen giants compete for redemption. Nearly a decade has passed since both these bastions of football were serious competitors for any trophy, but now there is a chance to change things. One team will have to continue their path to redemption at the expense of the other and it will be quite interesting to see how things go. AC Milan have lost their lead in the Serie A and are trailing Inter Milan in the league and will want to win the Europa League to keep their momentum.
