Valentine’s Day was far from lovely for Adam Hadwin. The star golfer struggled to acclimatize himself to the rough weather at Torrey Pines and he wound up missing the cut after finishing two rounds at 10-over par.

The only way his day could have got worse is if he had decided to scroll through X as his wife Jessica Hadwin was having a field day mocking her husband’s performance. To newcomers, her social media may appear to be shocking because WAGs are supportive of their partners but Jessica and Adam’s relationship is such that they do not mind joking around.

Her first post was her expressing anxiety to open the PGA Tour App to check how Adam Hadwin was performing after his rocky start. “This absolutely nothing against my husband, but I am getting legitimately scared to refresh the PGA Tour app anymore.” That’s a common sentiment to have in such a scenario, sometimes it is better to stay in the dark than receive timely updates.

Jessica Hadwin was not present at Torrey Pines when the tournament started

Due to the terrible weather conditions, Hadwin preferred to stay indoors for the first few hours. She joined Adam on the 18th hole and until then, kept sharing her thoughts on X and responded to fans watching the game. After her husband hit his first respectable shot of the night, Jessica posted a GIF of a person applauding with the caption ‘Fairway.’

It gets better! Jessica Hadwin posted another GIF, this time of a small girl with her head rested on the toilet seat, seeming sad, while a person patted her on the shoulder with a mop to console her. She joked that Adam would be consoled by her in a similar fashion after he came off the course.

Jessica Hadwin had to put in a note of caution for those who do not get her sense of humor that she was not being serious. Better to be safe than sorry in these times. Right before she went onto the course, she joked about deleting the posts and replies, so there was no evidence of her going after Adam once he came off the course.

They share a bond similar to Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, a couple that has a healthy relationship and do not shy away from taking light-hearted jibes at one another. As for Adam Hadwin, no amount of trolling by fans will get to him because his most brutal critic happens to be his wife!
