Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made the mistake of his life while trying to tame down an incensed Randy Orton. He was hit with an RKO amid The Viper’s ongoing brawl with Kevin Owens at Crown Jewel. Pearce, like other WWE personnel, chimed in to be a peacemaker. But Orton flattened him up. Seeing that version of The Apex Predator, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, who was at ringside, retreated quickly.
Referring to that backing off by Mr. Aldis, his Raw counterpart seems to have taken a dig at him. Adam Pearce took to X and wrote that Nick Aldis was nowhere to be found. The former NWA Champion backpedaled as he was the first of the two GMs to have incurred the wrath of an RKO last year. Randy didn’t regret his actions at all back then, even after being slapped with a hefty fine.
This time around, Pearce was on the receiving end. But the risk wasn’t worth the taking, as it went in vain. Orton’s grudges against Owens knew no bounds. They jumped the railing and started swinging at each other within the WWE Universe inside the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh. The Prizefighter had the last laugh.

The 40-year-old expressed satisfaction over the ambush on Orton. Kevin said that he may have broken his ribs but got what he wanted out of this beatdown. Things are far from being over between them.
In a video uploaded on WWE’s digital platforms, Randy could be seen carried out of the arena. There’s no word on how long he’s going to be on the shelf. Those steel chair shots to his back must’ve hurt, especially after the back fusion surgery he had.
What has gotten into Kevin Owens’ head after fallout with Randy Orton?
Some might be wondering why Kevin Owens is after Randy Orton with vengeance on his mind. It all started after the former Universal Champion unloaded on Cody Rhodes in an off-camera parking lot assault after Bad Blood.
Seeing the French-Canadian going berserk at The American Nightmare, Orton chose to back his longtime friend Cody over Kevin. It even resulted in physical exchanges between Kevin and Randy. After WWE management suspended KO for his conduct, he implicitly teased retirement.
While that doesn’t seem to be happening anymore, the former ROH Champion does have a lot on his plate. It appears as if he could be headed towards a rematch for the Undisputed WWE title against Cody Rhodes after squandering a previous shot at gold at Bash in Berlin.
