The match card for Survivor Series: WarGames continues to get increasingly stacked every week. On November 30th, Bron Breakker will defend his Intercontinental Championship for the first time at a premium live event. He will be going up against two men with whom he has crossed paths multiple times over the past few weeks, Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser, in a triple-threat match.

The Survivor Series go-home episode of Raw featured a non-title match between Bron Breakker and Kaiser. The two competitors were going at it when Sheamus was seen running down the aisle. The Celtic Warrior attacked the champion, leading to a brawl, and the match was called off due to disqualification. Match officials and referees tried to extinguish the fight as the show went to a commercial break.

After the show returned from the break, security held the men back from each other. A frustrated general manager, Adam Pearce, began shouting and said that if the competitors really wanted to fight, they could do so for the Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat at Survivor Series.

This was the fifth match announced for the show on Saturday. There will likely be no more additions to the card. This will also be the first time since SummerSlam that both midcard titles will be defended at a PLE.

Another championship is also up for grabs at the show, with Gunther defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Damian Priest. The event will most likely open with the women’s War Games match and close with the men’s version, as it did last year.

Sheamus reacts to getting another Intercontinental Championship title shot at Survivor Series

Sheamus was clearly excited to get another shot at the Intercontinental Championship, a prize that has eluded him his entire career. This is also the only title holding him back from being a Grand Slam champion in WWE. The Irish wrestler took to X to react to the announcement and alluded to finally finishing his story.

The former King of the Ring winner was trying to capture the prize once again last week on Raw. However, Ludwig Kaiser had come out to cost the 46-year-old his own bout against Bron Breakker, and the match ended in disqualification. In fact, the two Europeans have been at each other’s throats for months now.

Many fans remember the effort that the former WWE Champion has put in for this prize. He had a stellar feud against Gunther a couple of years ago. The two superstars have had several MOTY contenders at Clash at the Castle 2022, on SmackDown, as well as a triple-threat match with Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 39. Unfortunately, he was never able to dethrone the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion.
