Adam Pearce has solidified his position as one of the best general managers of this generation. He became an on-screen manager for Raw and SmackDown in 2020 and was involved in many memorable moments. One of those moments was when he indefinitely suspended Brock Lesnar on an episode of SmackDown in 2021.

While speaking with Chris Van Vliet on The Insight, the Raw general manager talked about his tussle with Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate delivered not one but two F5s to Adam Pearce after he was suspended for his actions outside the ring. However, after he was down and out, the camera captured his pants being ripped. Pearce admitted that he didn’t realize his pants were split until he went backstage and everyone was laughing at him.

The interesting thing was that Lesnar wasn’t supposed to hit him with another F5 but did it anyway for the fans. Pearce stated that he was a true professional, and the eye contact between them made it clear that the second F5 was coming. In the storyline, however, the 46-year-old official sanctioned him to pay one million dollars along with the suspension.

It was amazing; they split on the first one, which was hilarious. I remember saying to Brock, ‘Hey, I just want to know, how do you grab for the F5? I know it’s a fireman’s carry.’. And so he showed me how he’s going to grab me, and I said, ‘Don’t worry, I’ll get light for you.’ And he goes, ‘You don’t have to.’ And I said, ‘I know I don’t have to, but I will, brother. I got you.’. What a pro, what a freak athlete.

Lesnar last wrestled at SummerSlam 2023 against Cody Rhodes, in which he lost and put The American Nightmare over. A real-life controversy forced the cancellation of all plans for his return at this year’s Royal Rumble PLE. He was involved in a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant against Vince McMahon. It looks like WWE will only book him for future events once his name is cleared of all allegations.

Adam Pearce talked about having a program with the SmackDown GM Nick Aldis

Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis are doing an amazing job as the GMs of their respective brands. Since being appointed as the GMs of Raw and SmackDown, respectively, the dynamics between them have been quite competitive. Both want their shows to outperform the other. However, few people know that they both have a background in wrestling as well.

While speaking on the same podcast, Pearce agreed that there was a spark of rivalry between him and Aldis. However, neither of them wanted that kind of spotlight and were happy with the roles they were given. The 46-year-old official acknowledged that it would be exciting if it happened in the future in some capacity.

There's something there, there's a lot of air and opportunity between Mr.Aldis and I would say. but here's a thing, you have to want that. I don't think he wants that. I think neither Nick or I are ever gonna angle for a position in the spotlight like that.

Since his debut in WWE, fans haven’t seen the SmackDown GM involved in a major physical altercation with any superstars. The same can’t be said about Pearce, however, as he’s been attacked by many stars during his tenure as an official. A PLE where the WWE Universe could witness a battle of supremacy between both brands is Survivor Series: WarGames. Only time will tell whether they get their hands dirty as well.
