Bray Wyatt may be gone, but the memories remain unscathed. Almost everyone who’s had a chance to work with him knows a thing or two about Wyatt’s creative prowess. One such entity who shared the screen with the deceased soul is none other than Adam Pearce. He spoke at length about the one time he was in a segment with Bray.
Pearce told Chris Van Vliet on Insight how initially he thought the role he was entrusted with was hilarious. It was back in August of 2020 when the Raw GM entered the Firefly Fun House to obtain Bray Wyatt‘s signature for his then-upcoming Universal title defense against Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman at Payback. Pearce did mention how much creative leeway Wyatt had at that juncture.
Adam had the urge to utter the F-word just when he stepped into Wyatt’s go-to place, the Firefly Fun House. Viewers could go and rewatch that segment to confirm that Pearce was indeed left awestruck when The Eater of Worlds let him in as a postman. It took a while for Adam Pearce to sink that creepy ambience into his system.
I remember saying 'Hey man, of course we have the point we have to get across, but I just kind of want to be in awe of this place and look around. What the f***?' You go back and watch it and I walk in the door and I go 'What the?Adam Pearce via Insight podcast
It was the one and only time they appeared together on WWE television. About three years later to that date, Wyatt’s brusque demise deflated everyone among the wrestling fraternity. Recently, his fiancé, JoJo Offerman, claimed that she was visited by Bray in the form of a moth.
WWE Superstars have duly paid their tribute to the former Wyatt Family leader in one way or another. The latest example being Jey Uso, who was seemingly riding with The Eater of Worlds while making his enchanting entrance at Backlash in France. After the show, Uso even received a heartwarming message from JoJo about it.
Wyatt Sicks remembered Bray Wyatt following impressive in-ring debut on Raw
The Wyatt Sicks, a group of emotionally persecuted individuals who’re the ones to represent Bray Wyatt’s legacy to this day, made their in-ring debut on Raw last week. They took on American Made, a trio of Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers.
Burying the spooky act allegations, the Wyatts wrestled as if some rent was due. They outmaneuvered the heels in every aspect. As a result, the Wyatt Sicks picked up the win with Uncle Howdy and Sister Abigail grinning ear to ear at ringside.
After the show went off air, Howdy and Rowan embraced with flashlights embellishing the background. Both of them hugged and pointed at the sky as if Bray were looking down at them with utter delight. The rest of the members followed suit, much to the crowd’s jubilation.
