“Pathetic and very disappointing”- WWE Universe IRATE after top official teases a Brock Lesnar return on social media amid prolonged hiatus
Top WWE official cryptically posts a photo of Brock Lesnar on social media, drawing criticism from fans online.

Raw general manager Adam Pearce took social media by storm on Wednesday. The WWE official cryptically posted an old photo of him and Paul Heyman watching Brock Lesnar stretchered out of the arena. Although there is no clear meaning behind this post on X, it has admittedly come at an interesting time.
Last week on SmackDown, Roman Reigns called Heyman only to find out that his number was out of service. Reigns, along with the OG Bloodline, are currently looking for a 5th member ahead of their WarGames match. Hence, Pearce might be alluding to Heyman bringing back Lesnar at Survivor Series and helping Reigns regain control over his family.
The Beast Incarnate has been absent from WWE programming since last year’s SummerSlam. Furthermore, Lesnar was scheduled to return at the Royal Rumble. Days before the event, however, a former WWE employee, Janel Grant, filed a s*x trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon and the company. Among the several heinous accusations, Lesnar was implicated in the lawsuit.

Since then, WWE has usually refrained from mentioning Brock Lesnar on television. Albeit said, there have been a few times when stars have referenced the former Universal Champion. This had led to speculation about Lesnar’s return to WWE. As of last month, the company reportedly had no plans to bring him back. However, Pearce’s latest tease has led to a lot of questions regarding Lesnar’s status.
WWE Universe criticizes Adam Pearce for posting Brock Lesnar photo on social media
Regardless of the meaning behind his cryptic post, fans lambasted Adam Pearce on social media. Of course, posting a photo of someone who is implicated in a s*x trafficking lawsuit drew the ire of the WWE Universe. In fact, a few users accused Pearce of supporting Brock Lesnar amid the ongoing federal investigation.
One fan boldly asserted that Lesnar belonged inside a prison cell along with Vince McMahon. As for the possible OG Bloodline and Paul Heyman tease, netizens were also divided on that front. While some were open to Lesnar returning with Heyman, others felt that WWE no longer needed him.
Posting someone that's named in a sex trafficking lawsuit is pathetic and very disappointing

Is this a hint about the fifth man for the OG Bloodline?
— Korey Gift (@KoreyGift1986) November 20, 2024
It will be CM Punk as the 5th member of the bloodline team. This is just to swerve everyone
— awehallows (@awehallows) November 20, 2024
Instead, many believed that Pearce was ‘swerving’ everyone away from another former Heyman advocate, CM Punk. Despite not appearing on television since Bad Blood, Punk is still reportedly scheduled for Survivor Series. Hence, The Second City Saint could return as the fifth member of the OG Bloodline team inside WarGames.
