Jayson Tatum makes things crystal clear after NBA title win
Jayson Tatum has shown to be one of the Boston Celtics’ most consistent contributors in the NBA. Tatum’s dedication paid off when his side captured the historic 2024 NBA championship. Particularly, Tatum told ESPN reporters that his championship win brought an “end” to the debate and skepticism surrounding him.
There’s still a lot of things I guess they can debate. But now I’ve done something that they can’t debate: I’ve won a championship. Having that under my belt, like obviously it’s still conversations to be had or whatever people want to say, but they always got to refer to me as an NBA champion.Jayson Tatum explained
Also, Tatum was selected for the 2024 Paris Olympics to play for his nation, Team USA. However, he was left on the bench for the major part of the event. He appeared in only four of Team USA’s six games, averaging 5.3 points and 5.3 rebounds in 17.7 minutes per contest.
Tatum became visibly upset with the short amount of time he had to demonstrate his abilities for his country. Despite this, Tatum is excited for the new 2024-25 NBA season and hopes to make more history for both himself and his Celtics teammates.
