Former ESPN journalist Adrian Wojnarowski has been making the headlines lately for his recent comments. Wojnarowski recently announced his plans to retire from sports journalism, leaving ESPN in the process.

However, according to the veteran reporter, NBA front offices continue to feed him ‘scoops.’ Wojnarowski has been a top reporter over the years, breaking important news regarding the league and its players. Now, after his retirement he plans to live a life away from the drama of the NBA.

However, NBA front offices do not seem to be leaving him at peace. Recently, Wojnarowski stated that he ‘turned down’ a scoop from an NBA front office.

Adrian Wojnarowski responded to Shams Charania landing ESPN job

After Adrian Wojnarowski announced his retirement from sports reporting, another NBA insider Shams Charania landed the ESPN job. In an exclusive interview with CNBC’s Alex Sherman, the recently hired Charania talked about his new position and gave an overview of his duties.

Before that, the retired Wojnarowksi opened up on Charania landing his role at ESPN. He had nothing but ‘love and support’ for the new ESPN insider.

Shams texted me after I announced my retirement, and what I told him is what I would say today, I hope he has as fulfilling and as rewarding of a career as I’ve had. And I certainly wish that for him.

Adrian Wojnarowski said on the Jim Rome podcast

Charania is incredibly respectful of Wojnarowski. Recently, when questioned about his connection with Wojnarowski, a subject of great public interest, on his ESPN debut, he showed utmost calmness. It was also nice to see him steer clear of any contentious comments regarding the rivalry and instead concentrate on his positive approach to the work.
