A day after she was announced to be debuting for CMLL this Friday, former WWE Superstar Lana, aka CJ Perry, didn’t show up at Arena Mexico. Her absence sparked an abundance of speculation about what could be the reason behind her no-show. Concerns grew manifold when she didn’t come out to accompany her client, Andrade, on last night’s AEW collision.

However, it has now been revealed that Perry has caught an infection. As noted by her post on X, the Ravishing Russian disclosed that the infection, which was first limited to her middle finger, has now gone up to the entire arm. Perry was at the Valley Presbyterian Hospital to diagnose the gnarly-looking scar. As a result, the 38-year-old urged everyone to send her good wishes.

Ever since coming to All Elite Wrestling at All Out pay-per-view in September, CJ Perry has been an indispensable addition to the roster. Despite her hiatus as an in-ring performer, she has impressed many people through her on-screen presence. When she initially came in, her husband, Miro, was disappointed. Despite trying to reconcile with her life partner, Perry wasn’t able to persuade him.

She’s currently managing Andrade, who just lost a pivotal showdown against Claudio Castagnoli on Collision last night. She’d hope her arm healed up as soon as possible. It appears like the story between Perry and Miro would be the focal point at some juncture. They haven’t gotten along in a long time, and their fans would hope to see that change in the not-too-distant future. Well, Lana’s on-screen bond with Bobby Lashley back in WWE did catch Rusev, now Miro, off guard.

CJ Perry lists Saraya as one of the names she’d like to wrestle in AEW

Though she’s yet to have a match in AEW, Lana is already lining up the names she’d love to tango with. In a recent interview with The Kliq, the 38-year-old immediately name-dropped Saraya as the one.

Perry disclosed that she’s close to Saraya’s mom, and the two wrestlers go way back. They shared the screen on numerous occasions during their stay in WWE.

Honestly, Saraya. Obviously, she’s one of my favorite people and I’ve known her for over a decade now. We have so much history and she’s helped me so much in wrestling. I definitely trust her and I’m close with her mom. So that would be just like a crazy dream.

Apart from The Anti-Diva, Perry also brought Britt Baker into the fray. For sure, they could make a great matchup. Last but not least, CJ Perry yearned to tee off against the ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm at some point.
