Matt Hardy recently shocked the entire wrestling fraternity after appearing on WWE Raw last week. Despite not being on the programming and staying at the reserved box, he was immediately spotted by the WWE Universe. Moreover, he even got a shout-out from the commentary team. This has sparked a suspicion of the AEW Superstar possibly jumping ships.

It is rare for WWE to refer to AEW Superstars despite having a history with them. Furthermore, WWE will be releasing a new episode of their show WWE Rivals on AETV. This week’s episode will feature the iconic rivalry between The Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian. The Sensai of Mattitude took to X to urge fans to tune in on the latest episode. Ironically, all four Superstars are currently signed to AEW.

Despite being signed by the rival company, the tag team specialist appeared on WWE Raw and is openly promoting WWE’s show. This led fans to wonder whether the Florida-based company employee may return to the Stamford-based company in the future. Moreover, WWE maintains a good level of camaraderie with their former employees, so there is a possibility that something might be in the works.

Jeff Hardy returned to the company after struggling with real-life issues and both seem to be getting along pretty well in the AEW. The two Superstars had incredible runs in the WWE. Angelic Diablo coming to Raw proves the good relations between him and WWE. The same can’t be said for Jeff who deliberately walked out to end his contract mid-match at a live event in the WWE.

Matt Hardy gives an update about his contractual status

The Broken Superstar recently spoke on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast and cleared the air surrounding his AEW contract expiring. The 49-year-old Superstar expressed his love for Tony Khan‘s company and stated how it must thrive to exist. Moreover, he took shots at WWE for being the monopoly for so long and described the need for competition.

The veteran Superstar claimed how good of a human being Tony Khan is and how he takes care of him. Matt Hardy added how he has been a good boss all along. Furthermore, one-half of The Hardy Boyz stated how he still wants to do a lot more in AEW and wants to achieve peace in his career.

The former WWE Superstar informed his fans about needing more time to figure things out. Moreover, he added that he will explore what the future holds for him. So, it is still unclear where the twisted Superstar will go but he has assured to make his decision soon.
