Tough times don’t always come with a warning as former WWE Superstar, CJ Perry, and FKA Lana recently discovered. In her recent post, fans learned about her worsening infection which has prompted her to receive immediate surgery.

In her post, Perry can be seen lying in the hospital bed. She also attached a close-up shot of her finger that looks darkened because of being infected. Perry informed the fans how staying in the ER hasn’t improved her condition and she has decided to go for the surgery.

The former WWE Superstar was slated to be in the corner of her new client, Andrade el Idolo. Her injury prevented her from joining him in Mexico. She also missed the Continental Classic Tournament where Andrade squared up against Claudio Castagnoli. Ever since the news arrived, the wrestling community has prayed for her well-being. It hadn’t been long since fans received the sad news about Kenny Omega getting hospitalized.

Update on CJ Perry’s recent surgery

CJ Perry sent her apologies to the fans after her AEW Collision appearance and CMLL debut got spoiled because of her worsening infection. Her husband’s recent story now suggests that her surgery was successful and she is doing well.

Fans saw Perry on the hospital bed. In front of the bed, there was a table with a big meal arranged on it. It seemingly indicated that Miro, fka Rusev was ready to feed his wife after her tough time in the hospital. Hopefully, the post-operation meal improved the spirits of the Diva who went through a tough surgery. She was recently seen on a sexy vacation with former WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan.

On the screen, the storyline has indicated that Miro is scheduled to square against Perry’s newest client Andrade. With Perry’s hospitalization, the plans went on hold. Andrade recently suffered a major defeat in his illustrious AEW career. Castagnoli went low and dirty as he advanced in the Continental Classic Tournament. However, it seems the fans wouldn’t have to wait for too long as the surgery complications seem out of the line.
