Saraya’s in-ring return has mainly revolved around reclaiming her lost glory in this business. The rage within herself would land her in a feud with Britt Baker, whom the former confronted upon her debut. At the Full Gear pay-per-view event, Saraya proved that she still had it and defeated the former AEW Women’s Champion.

However, the Doctor wasn’t the one who’d back down this easily. On the December 7th edition of Dynamite, Baker confronted Saraya and challenged her to a Tag-Team showdown. This epic clash is set for the forthcoming edition of Dynamite at the Kia Forum on December 11th. On one side, Baker will join forces with the current AEW Women’s Champion, Jamie Hayter, to take on her arch-nemesis Saraya and a partner of her choosing.

Before entering the arena, the Anti-Diva made a remark about one of her former adversaries. While speaking to Alistair McGeorge of The Metro, Saraya heaped praise on Sasha Banks. The main outlines drawn from her conversation included the massive amount of respect and admiration she possesses for The Boss. However, the last line she dropped makes one wonder whether they’ll meet up soon.

“Wherever she ends up, I’m gonna be happy for her, and anyone that gets her is gonna be very, very lucky. I just selfishly hope that I get to wrestle her one day. I don’t know if she’d want to because she’d probably be scared to wrestle me again.”

After some recent rumblings, it’s been heavily speculated that it’s none other than Sasha Banks who’ll end up being Saraya’s mystery tag partner. Also, as has been widely rumored for a long time, Banks will appear at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom event on January 4th.

A week later, Saraya will need an appropriate woman by her side to handle the business on Dynamite. If Banks really turns up at The Forum on January 11th, the place will explode. This would surely be the first major occasion in regards to a top WWE Superstar jump ship to AEW after a long time.

As mentioned in the above interview, Saraya is very keen to work alongside Sasha Banks. This statement being close enough to her highly anticipated Tag-Team match isn’t a coincidence. Also, there’s a lot of unfinished business between the two, if we rewind the history clip. Just to mention, it was The Boss’ accidental kick that would abruptly land on Saraya’s neck back in 2017. This forced the British wrestler to accept the second retirement of her wrestling career.
