Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, has been the most sought-after free agent for some time. WWE and AEW have both tried their best to sign her. The recent announcement by AEW CEO and owner, Tony Khan, has hinted at the potential date and destination for Mone’s debut in his company.

This week on Dynamite, fans eagerly awaited Tony Khan’s highly anticipated announcement. He revealed that on March 13, AEW Dynamite would make its way to Boston’s TD Garden for a special episode titled “Big Business.”

The choice of venue has started the rumor mill that this could be the date and place of Mercedes Mone’s debut in AEW. Moreover, the former Women’s Champion is from Boston, and it’s widely reported that she has already signed with AEW, but there is no official confirmation for this. The font used in “Big Business” also makes this obvious, as the sign is similar to her signature money sign.

Previously, it was reported that WWE had also made multiple attempts to sign Sasha Banks. As a result, the WWE Universe believed that she could appear at the Royal Rumble. However, the involved parties could not agree on the financial terms. This led to AEW poaching the services of Mercedes Mone.

Fans began speculating about Mercedes Mone’s debut in AEW after the announcement

The Tony Khan announcement has started rumors and speculation among fans about the potential debut of Mercedes Mone. Fans have always loved the 32-year-old, whether it be during her time with WWE or her time after the WWE exit, where she wrestled at NJPW and Stardom.

AEW fans took to social media platform X to express their views. Fans keenly observed subtle hints and cleverly pieced together clues, igniting speculation about Mercedes Mone’s potential debut in AEW. The anticipation was palpable as fans eagerly awaited the opportunity to witness her prowess and charisma unleashed within the dynamic world of the Jacksonville-based company.

The inclusion of Mercedes Mone into the AEW women’s division promises to inject a much-needed boost of star power and top-level performance. Presently, AEW’s women’s division struggles to match the prominence and caliber seen in WWE, with a roster of decent talents but lacking standout performers. Mone’s arrival has the potential to revitalize the quality of the women’s division.
