WWE Hall of Famer, Sting is one of the few superstars who is still wrestling actively at his age. He will always hold a special place in all of the wrestling fans’ hearts. However, he has finally decided to hang up his boots and wrestle in his last match at AEW Revolution on March 3. 

The fans were so excited and eager to know what would be his last match. Now, AEW has finally made his retirement match official. The 64-year-old legend will defend his AEW tag team titles against the team of Nicholas Jackson and Matthew Jackson in a Tornado Tag Match.

In a surprising event, Sting won his first title in the company after he and Allin defeated Ricky Starks and Big Bill on an episode of AEW Dynamite. However, their celebration was cut short after the brothers brutally attacked them. They became the number one contender for the title and will fight the pairing of Allen and Sting in his retirement match.

Sting’s best friend and long-term rival, Ric Flair, made his debut on AEW, saying that he would be in his corner during his retirement match. The 64-year-old legend has given many incredible moments to the fans in every company he has been in. It will surely be an emotional moment for the wrestling world when he finally wrestles in his last-ever match.

Sting will wrestle in his final match ever and defend his tag team titles with Darby Allin against the Young Bucks. The match will take place at AEW Revolution on March 3 in Greensboro Coliseum. Although the fans were emotional about his final match, they expressed their disappointment for a very obvious reason.

One fan was pretty angry at the official announcement and said it was a waste of his final match. Another fan was disappointed with the predictable result of the Young Bucks winning, as it will be Sting’s final match. Here are some of the top reactions from the fans: 

While some fans were happy and wished this PPV to be one of the biggest, other fans were just tired of seeing Matt and Nick Jackson in the title picture every time. One fan said FTR would’ve been a good choice instead of the Young Bucks. Another fan said he could’ve even watched the match between the master and his student. 

Overall, the majority of fans were disappointed as a result of the match. It has now become predictable that Sting will lose the AEW World Tag Team Titles to the Young Bucks in his last-ever match.
