Now, a report is surfacing on the internet that states that Omega was close to having blood infections, which might have been life-threatening.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, during the show in Arlington, Omega had pain backstage. After his promo, Kenny rushed to the hospital, where he got a diagnosis. Moreover, it was revealed that if Omega had delayed his appointment, he might have suffered a catastrophic infection, which could have resulted in his life hanging in the balance.

At the 12/13 show in Arlington, TX, the pain was very clear backstage, and after doing his promo, he ended up in the hospital where he got the diagnosis - He was told when diagnosed that he was very lucky he went in because the situation could have been catastrophic, such as getting a blood infection, if he wasn’t diagnosed at the time he was, which would have something like a 50 percent chance of death.
