Saraya is currently off AEW programming and seems to be taking some time for herself. The erstwhile Paige has had an eventful career. While she has seen the highest of highs both in WWE and AEW, she has even had to retire due to facing issues with her neck. Unforunately, it seems like things aren’t going too well for her in her personal life at the moment.
According to a report by TMZ, Saraya has broken up with her boyfriend, Ronnie Radke. For those unaware, he is the lead singer of the rock band Falling in Reverse. The couple first went public with their relationship back in 2018 and have seemingly called it quits after nearly 6 years of seeing each other. She also did not wish him a happy birthday on social media on December 15th, something which is common among partners.
There seems to be no word on why these two former lovebirds broke up. However, it is speculated that their busy schedules didn’t help things too much. Radke is constantly on tour with his band. Furthermore, Saraya continually having to travel with AEW is no easy task either. The erstwhile Paige also revealed that she had taken a break from AEW due to personal reasons, which could have something to do with this breakup.
Saraya also debuted in AEW using the song “Zombified” as her entrance theme. This song was written by Radke’s band, Falling in Reverse. Furthermore, the former AEW Women’s Champion has also made cameo appearances during the band’s tours. She often shows up during the song “Bad Guy.”
What were the controversies surrounding Saraya’s boyfriend, Ronnie Radke?
Ronnie Radke is quite a controversial figure, highlighted by his criminal past. He was first arrested in 2006 after being a part of a fight that ended in the murder of an 18-year-old. The American musical pled guilty to battery with substantial body harm, revealing that he owned and brought brass knuckles to the fight. He also violated his probation in 2008.
In 2012, Ronnie Radke was arrested once again on charges of domestic violence against his then-girlfriend, Sally Watts. Later that year, he was arrested once again after he threw three microphone stands into the crowd, which injured several audience members. Furthermore, he is also controversial because of various anti-LGBTQ+ posts on his social media.
This is not the first time that Saraya has dated such a controversial figure. Her infamous relationship with Alberto Del Rio is widely known among the wrestling community. The couple had allegedly grown highly toxic and dependent on each other. Additionally, various instances of domestic assault were also reported.
