The spotlight is once again on Ryan Garcia, who recently uploaded a video apologizing for his recent actions. The controversial American boxer recently broke his promise to attend a rehab center. Recently, he made some comments about his ex-wife, Andrea Celina. For this, ‘KingRy’ took to social media to share insight into his current mental state.
Although he initially mentioned a desire to improve himself through rehabilitation, Ryan Garcia did not follow through. This came after his controversial racist and Islamophobic rant. Shortly after that, he became embroiled in another controversial situation. Garcia allegedly broke into his ex-wife’s home and broke things while accusing Celina of cheating. Now, he has decided to make changes.
I woke up the next morning and regretted everything I did and said to Andrea.... I’ve finally decided to get some help.... I’m going to rehab. In the next couple of months, you’re gonna see a change...Ryan Garcia via Instagram

Ever since the lead-up to the Devin Haney match, Ryan Garcia has been making headlines with his controversial behavior. Fans were shocked by the boxer’s strange actions, which some speculated have links to intoxication. Garcia has been open about his alcohol addiction. However, that didn’t stop him from getting into a heated altercation with his ex-wife, Andrea Celina.
Recently, Andrea Celina shared a series of text messages on her Instagram, including threats from ‘KingRy.’ She also accused the professional fighter of breaking into their house and wrecking it. This was a huge diversion from Garcia, who had recently apologized for making racist remarks. Even his ex-wife came in and spoke to her followers about Garcia’s mental health.
Andrea Celina warned everyone about the mental health struggles of Ryan Garcia
Ryan Garcia and Andrea Celina started dating in 2019. However, the pair announced their divorce in January 2024. The couple were already parents to their daughter, Bela, at the time of their wedding. A few years later, in December 2023, Garcia and Celina welcomed their son, Henry.

Only a few weeks after birth, Garcia announced both Henry’s arrival and his divorce from Celina. The couple has been on a rough patch, co-parenting their children. One must note that even before the racist rants, breaking and smashing things, Celina had warned the fanbase about the mental health struggles of the boxer.
I've been in contact with him. He may seem fine but he's not. I know in my heart he is being heavily oppressed.... Pray for him.Andrea Celina via Instagram
Garcia has now apologized for his recent behavior towards Celina. He even promised his fans he would go to rehab and come back stronger. Now, it remains to be how quickly the 25-year-old can bounce from his recent downfall in the eyes of the public.
