Bronson Reed continued his rampage on the latest episode of Raw. After laying out Seth Rollins on last week’s show, Reed vowed to find a new target. The 35-year-old star spoke with Raw GM Adam Pearce and demanded that he find an opponent for him. As such, R-Truth mistakenly proposed that his tag team partner, The Miz, face Reed. Unsurprisingly, the latter easily defeated The A-Lister and picked up the win.

Following the bout, Reed wasn’t done, as he attempted another Tsunami on the former Intercontinental Champion. Truth, who was at ringside, came into the ring to save his friend. However, he ended up on the receiving end of a brutal beatdown from the Aussie Superstar. Similar to last week on Raw, Reed hit a plethora of Tsunamis on the veteran as backstage officials and personnel once again failed to stop the monster.

Even Adam Pearce couldn’t talk some sense into Reed. The general manager of the red brand pleaded with the former NXT North American Champion, who ignored his pleas. Needless to say, R-Truth may end up missing a few weeks of action. Despite being handed a hefty fine, Bronson Reed showed no signs of stopping his wrath. After feeling disrespected, he decided to send a bold message by going after one of the top stars on the roster.

The Adelaide-born wrestler went berserk as he delivered six Tsunamis to Seth Rollins, who suffered internal injuries. As for Truth, there is currently no medical update regarding the former Tag Team Champion. Having said that, WWE will most likely provide more information about the attack on the legend in the coming days.

Bronson Reed’s attack on Seth Rollins was used to write off the latter from television

Following the chaotic angle on last week’s Raw, reports emerged that Seth Rollins will be out of action indefinitely. The Visionary had just returned a couple of months ago after a successful knee surgery. However, WWE may’ve prematurely brought back one of their top superstars.

As per Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rollins is suffering from a “chronic” issue that will presumably sideline him from the squared circle for a while. Hence, Reed’s beatdown on The Architect was most likely a way to write him off television.

Despite returning in July, Rollins only wrestled one match. The former Shield member squared off against Damian Priest at Money in the Bank, failing to recapture the World Heavyweight Championship. At SummerSlam, he played a crucial role in the CM PunkDrew McIntyre grudge bout, receiving a GTS from Punk as well.
