The Los Angeles Clippers have been making rounds on the internet recently. This is due to their new home arena, the $2 Billion Intuit Dome, nearing completion and will come into existence for the next NBA 2024-25 season. Notably, former Boston Celtics legend, Paul Pierce alongside Kevin Garnett shared his views on the Clippers roster and their new home arena.

On the “KG Certified” Podcast, Pierce claimed that the Clippers should retain all their main superstars at least for the next 3 years. He also claimed that their new home arena, the Intuit Dome needs a massive audience to attend to, and retaining their current superstars would be a big deal for the Clippers.

I'll line all them up. I'll let them go for 3 more years. I'm moving into the Intuit Dome, So...I want fans. You know? and you gonna be a contender. They was top 4 in the West, so imagine if they healthy, going into the Intuit Dome...Im signing all them Cats.

On the sports side, the Clippers had a bitter-sweet 2023-24 NBA season. They finished at 4th seed, despite suffering injuries to their star players. This led to the Clippers being knocked out by the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA playoffs, who are now in the NBA Finals and will face the Boston Celtics.

Tyronn Lue agrees staggering contract extension with Clippers

According to reports from Shams Charania of The Athletic and Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers, Tyronn Lue has agreed to a contract extension with the team. With just one year remaining on his contract, Lue will make around $70 million over five years, according to Charania, becoming him one of the highest-paid coaches in the NBA.

In addition, this a major coup for the Clippers side as they will be moving into their new home arena, the Intuit Dome next NBA season. Also, with the head coach position now secured, the Clippers will look to tie down their star-studded roster with James Harden, Paul George, Rusell Westbrook, etc. Notably, Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard agreed to a 3-year deal with them recently.

It remains to be seen now, how the Clippers proceed with some of their main players’ contracts up in the air next season. The Clippers fans will be hoping that they get to see all their main players in action at the amazing Intuit Dome next NBA season.
