AJ Brown exacted his revenge on the Kansas City Chiefs for losing in Super Bowl LVII by defeating them two years later in Super Bowl LIX. Yet it only took Brown two days to shake off the cloak that is a Super Bowl champion.
The 3x All-Pro receiver hinted that he will not settle for just one ring in his trophy cabinet. Brown shared a long post on Instagram revealing his thoughts.
While he received overwhelming support, especially from the Eagles fans, some, on the other hand, took it the wrong way. From their point of view, Brown let stardom get to his head by undermining the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX win.
It didn’t take long for Brown to respond to the criticism. He cited Tom Brady’s example, who won seven Super Bowls in his career but always was ready to win the next one.
Brady always says his favorite ring is the next one. The double standards is crazy. Touch Grass.

After winning his sixth ring with the New England Patriots in 2019, Brady shared a post on Instagram with the caption,
“Do you know which ring is my favorite?… The Next One!!!”
The 47-year-old went on to win his seventh Super Bowl ring, but he was no longer with the Patriots at that point. In 2020, Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won his seventh and final ring. Ironically, he defeated Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
What did AJ Brown say after winning Super Bowl LIX?
While Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley were busy doing interviews and participating in parades after the Super Bowl, Brown made a kid’s dream come true and contemplated his own personal dream. He realized that even though he was now a Super Bowl champion, the satisfaction lasted for a little over 48 hours.

Brown shared his findings with his followers on Wednesday.
After a few days, I’ve had time to reflect on being a champion. I tried to feel how everyone made it seem to be a champion and unfortunately, it was short-lived.. two days to be exact lol.

The 27-year-old has won a couple of NFC East and NFC Championships, but on Sunday he won the football’s biggest game for the first time in his career.
I’ve never been a champion at the highest level before but I thought my hard work would be justified by winning it all. It wasn’t.
AJ Brown wrote
Pulling the plug after just securing one ring isn’t Brown’s style. He views himself as a competitor and the thrill of outsmarting defensive backs during a game.
The Intense battles. Early mornings. Late nights. Sacrifices. I love putting smiles on people’s faces; don’t get me wrong but it just wasn’t what I thought it would be. It’s the journey that I love the most. BACK 2 Work!

These words are a testament to Brown’s mentality as someone who prefers looking forward to the next challenge rather than being content with what he has or has achieved. He is not finished—far from it.
In April 2024, AJ Brown signed a three-year, $96 million contract extension, keeping him with the Eagles through the 2029 season. So, the Eagles fans can rest assured he won’t be going anywhere, anytime soon.
