Following U.S. President Joe Biden’s recent comments, in which he referred to Donald Trump’s supporters as ‘garbage,’ backfired significantly, the former U.S. President Trump seized the moment to rally his base stronger. During a campaign rally in Green Bay, he gave a special shoutout to fan favorite AJ Dillon.

Being out of the season due to a severe neck injury, the star running back showed up at Trump’s election rally ahead of the U.S. Presidential election. However, he wasn’t the only popular figure from the Packers present, as legendary Brett Favre also attended the event and spoke publicly from the podium.

Trump took the opportunity to acknowledge Dillon. He wished for a speedy recovery for the player.

Quadzilla … the Quad Father. AJ Dillon, I got to meet him backstage. Get healthy soon, AJ. Get healthy soon.

The standout running back was seen sitting in the front row at Trump’s campaign rally in Green Bay, accompanied by his wife, Gabrielle Dillon. Praising him certainly awarded the Republican party leader points from the fans, as Dillon is a fan favorite, especially for his love for Wisconsin’s Door County and standout contribution to the Packers’ solid offense.

In fact, Head Coach Matt LaFleur calls Dillon the “mayor”, referencing his popularity among the fans. He sustained his season-ending injury before the regular season even began and was placed on the injury reserve in August for suffering a stringer injury.

I can tell you one thing, I knew I would come back to Green Bay at various times, but I never thought I would come back in this setting. Much like the Packer organization, Donald Trump and his organization is a winner. The United States of America won with his leadership.

He also criticized the U.S. President for labeling him and all the supporters who attended the rally as ‘garbage,’ emphasizing they are citizens of America representing a diverse range of professions, including doctors, teachers, nurse police officers, and students.
