Triple H continues to “cook,” as news about another wrestler competing in a different promotion despite being contracted under WWE surfaced online. This wrestler was none other than AJ Styles. After suffering a loss in a brutal “I Quit” match against Cody Rhodes, The Phenomenal One will travel to a rather familiar territory.

Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling Noah and WWE recently announced exciting news about AJ Styles. The 47-year-old veteran will face Noah’s Naomichi Marufuji in a special singles match on July 13 at the upcoming Destination pay-per-view, marking a major crossover event. Not only him, but it was announced a few days ago that Iyo Sky would be fighting Utami Hayashishita on the same day at Marigold’s Summer Destiny show.

Styles has had a special connection with Japanese wrestling, as he was one of the biggest stars in the promotion of New Japan Pro Wrestling. He was the leader of the notorious faction Bullet Club and won many championships, including the IWGP Heavyweight Championship twice. Meanwhile, his opponent, Naomichi Marufuji, established himself as a legend in the company and accomplished everything he could.

Ahead of his match against The American Nightmare at Clash at the Castle PLE, he expressed his desire to wrestle in TNA. Without a doubt, he wouldn’t mind a chance to wrestle in Japan again. However, considering the date, the match is scheduled for a month from now, and until then, fans will be eagerly anticipating his next move.

Brandi Rhodes sent a message on social media after Cody Rhodes’ mom slapped AJ Styles

Although the match between the two Georgian wrestlers was highly intense and entertaining, there was one moment that stood out. During the match, Mama Rhodes slapped her son’s opponent three times after he insulted her. Brandi Rhodes didn’t miss a chance to comment on it on social media.

She took to X and was delighted by how her mother-in-law was involved in the dynamics. It certainly looked like the former WWE ring announcer was enjoying the show a little bit too much. Brandi mocked The Bloodline for attacking The American Nightmare and cheered when Randy Orton showed up to help him.

What did the five fingers say to the face? Slap Slap again Slap one mo time. I got time today yall. I haven't drank in 3 weeks for a photo shoot I NEED this

After the match ended, Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline members brutally attacked the champ. However, his old ally and mentor, The Viper, along with Kevin Owens, evened the odds and fended them off. It looks like Rhodes’ next challenger for his undisputed WWE title will be the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa.
