AJ Styles is one of the very few wrestlers to have a Hall of Fame-worthy career in multiple promotions. Apart from his illustrious tenure in WWE, The Phenomenal One has left an indelible mark on the wrestling world, having achieved remarkable success in both TNA and NJPW. With the partnership between WWE and TNA growing, he gave his opinion on the collaboration in an interview.

While speaking with Cultaholic Wrestling’s Fraser Porter, AJ Styles was asked whether he could wrestle in TNA once again. His answer was quite positive, as he hoped that it would happen in the future and that more TNA wrestlers would make appearances in WWE. The former WWE Champion believed that it was important to be well-rounded in all departments, and in his opinion, NXT was not the place where they could do it all.

Styles made his debut for TNA in 2002 and didn’t waste any time winning titles. In his 12-year tenure, he became the TNA World Heavyweight Champion twice and the TNA X Division Champion six times. After leaving the company in 2014, he made his mark in NJPW and won the IWGP Heavyweight Title twice. It was already a big deal when he made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble in 2016.

I would say that hopefully something like that happens. It’s good for not only talent in WWE to go to TNA, TNA to come to WWE, it’s better for the younger talent to get into the ring with some people who have different styles. It’s very important that we are well rounded and you can’t do that all in NXT.

The 47-year-old became the 15th Grand Slam Champion just five years after joining the Stamford-based company. He will look forward to adding one more title to his already Hall of Fame-worthy career on June 15. Styles will battle fellow Georgian Cody Rhodes in an “I Quit” match for the Undisputed WWE title at Clash at the Castle in Scotland.

AJ Styles expressed his opinion about his new theme song

The Phenomenal One changed his theme song at WrestleMania XL and no longer uses the one he had in 2016. However, fans are not receiving it the way he had hoped. In an interview, Styles shared that he had some input in the decision to change the theme song.

While speaking with Corey Brennan of Fightful, he requested fans give the new theme song some more time. Styles stated that if fans compare his current theme music to his old one, they won’t like it at first. However, he believes that they will eventually come to like it after hearing it more.

Listen, if you’re trying to compare it to my recent WWE music, you’re not going to like it at first, but you’ll give it a listen, you’ll hear it a lot more, and you’ll go, ‘You know what, it’s actually pretty good.’ So just give it some time. You’ll like it. I like it.

The 47-year-old star has used many theme songs throughout his entire career, from “Evil Ways” to “Get Ready to Fly” in TNA and the iconic “They Don’t Want None” when he debuted in the Royal Rumble match eight years ago. Despite differing opinions on his theme music, fans are undeniably eager to see him reclaim championship gold.
