Ajinkya Rahane missing Federer and Nadal in US Open 2020

Ajinkya Rahane, who is currently in UAE for the upcoming IPL 2020 is excited about the start of US Open 2020. Rahane, who will be playing for Delhi Capitals in this edition, tweeted about his eagerness to about the tournament.
The Wimbledon 2020 was canceled due to public health concerns linked to the COVID-19 pandemic. Whereas, The French Open 2020 was postponed until September due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Feeling the void of Rafa and Federer: Rahane
In a recent tweet, Rahane has stated that he is feeling the absence of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Federer underwent two knee surgeries and will not play any tournament until next year. Whereas, Nadal pulled out of the tournament amid fears of coronavirus and a ‘barbaric’ tennis schedule.
Rahane wrote on Twitter, “Definitely feeling the void of @rogerfederer , @RafaelNadal or an audience not being a part of the #USOpen . But that doesn’t take away from the excitement. Are you guys excited? Who are you rooting for this season?”.
Rahane is a huge tennis enthusiast and follows tennis avidly. Rahane was traded to Delhi capitals by Rajasthan Royals earlier. IPL 2020 begins on 19th September in UAE.
