Chelsea Green and Michin have become each other’s arch nemeses in the WWE. The latest episode of SmackDown saw these two superstars clash once again, this time in a street fight. The champion retained once again due to help from the outside. However, people expected this interference to come from Piper Niven, not from a returning Alba Fyre.

These superstars had a brutal match on the latest episode of the blue brand. The bout featured steel chairs, kendo sticks, trash cans, and anything these two superstars could get their hands on. Toward the end of the match, Michin went for a Sole Food and laid Green out on a table.

Mia Yim climbed the turnbuckle, hit a diving senton onto Chelsea Green, and went for the cover. However, just as the referee was about to count three, a mysterious figure pulled the Hot Mess out of the ring. This person was revealed to be Alba Fyre, who then hit Michin with a Canadian Destroyer onto some steel chairs.

Fyre threw Green into the ring, who managed to get one arm on top of the challenger for a pinfall and win the match. Post-match, the Scottish wrestler got into the ring, handed the title to the champion, and saluted her, indicating that she has most likely joined the 33-year-old’s “secret service.”

WWE may have made a brilliant move by giving Alba Fyre a gimmick originally intended for recently-released superstar

Alba Fyre’s tag team partner, Isla Dawn, was released from WWE as part of the latest round of talent cuts. The Unholy Union wasn’t very over, and this release further left the 32-year-old with nothing to do. In fact, this was the first time she made an appearance on the main roster in 2025.

Now, Alba Fyre is definitely talented enough to become another huge player in the SmackDown women’s midcard scene herself. She definitely could have been a credible threat to Chelsea Green’s reign as US Champion. However, after the release of her partner, she required a huge character shift. Thus, turning her heel and putting her alongside one of the most over superstars in the company is perhaps a good idea.

Furthermore, Fyre’s new gimmick may not be an original idea for her. Shortly after the latest round of releases, a report stated that WWE considered putting Blair Davenport alongside Green and Piper Niven. She would act as a bodyguard, complimenting the Women’s US Champion’s presidential gimmick, and apparently, they even had a costume ready for her.
