Recently, Alberto El Patron, previously known as Alberto Del Rio in WWE, spoke in detail about the lawsuit.
During an interview with Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Del Rio explicitly defended his former boss. The former WWE Champion claimed it was ‘unfair’ that the wrestling world has constantly tarnished McMahon’s name since the allegations came to light. Further, the 47-year-old heaped praise on the billionaire’s contribution to the wrestling business. According to Del Rio, the industry wouldn’t be where it is today without McMahon.

The lawsuit was put on hold after a federal investigation was launched into Vince McMahon and WWE, who are co-defendants in the lawsuit. A docuseries on the founder of the company will release next week on September 25. As per reports, the series will shed more light on the trafficking allegations against McMahon.
