Aleister Black might be returning to WWE NXT

Recent reports claim that WWE Superstar Aleister Black has made a request to the company. He has requested WWE to shift him back to the WWE NXT roster. The request has reportedly been rejected.

Aleister is currently a part of the WWE Raw roster. While his introduction on the Red brand was much appreciated by the WWE Universe. Black was being given a push as a top Heel on the roster. He was issuing open challenges, and climbing the ranks on the roster. But soon the steam ran out.

He was involved in the infamous Rollins-Mysterio rivalry. Just like Mysterio, Black’s eye was taken out be Rollins. Since then, Black has not been seen in an active rivalry. Considering how WWE is ineffectively using Black, his request seems justified.

WWE releases Zelina Vega

Aleister Black’s wife, Zelina Vega was recently released from WWE. WWE had issued a notice to all its wrestlers, claiming that their Twitch accounts will be managed by WWE. Vega was one of the Superstars who raised their voices against this.

Vega also openly claimed the need for unionization of WWE employees. Minutes later, she was released from the company. But she has announced that she loves pro-wrestling too much to just quit it. It would be interesting to see when and which promotion signs Vega. She is currently under a 90-day non-compete contract with WWE.
