UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria‘s brother, Aleksandre Topuria, made his UFC debut with a victory. The Georgian-Spanish fighter dominated his opponents on the feet as well as on the ground to secure a unanimous decision. However, one particular move from the fighter reminded fans of the legendary Brock Lesnar at UFC 312.
Being the elder brother of one of the most popular fighters in UFC, Aleksandre Topuria had a chip on his shoulder. However, he didn’t let that pressure fold him as he showcased a clinical performance against Colby Thicknesse. Topuria wanted a finish, but had to settle with a decision victory. Nevertheless, his wrestling prowess was incredible.
During the fight, Topuria slammed Thicknesse with a massive suplex which was similar to Brock Lesnar’s WWE power move. The former UFC heavyweight champion is a fan favorite and is famous for his brutal slams, and Topuria used it to full efficiency. While WWE moves are quite rare in MMA, it always gets the crowd going when something happens.
