“We are waiting Rafa,” Alex Corretja does not expect anything from the Spaniard at the French Open

37-year-old Rafael Nadal is on the last lap of his professional career. After playing truthfully for the sport, the Spaniard hopes to retire by the end of the year. He has bid farewell to a few tournaments already and sets his sights on the upcoming Roland Garros.
With immense expectations of him, the Spaniard hopes to give it one last go at the French Open. Although he is not in the best of form, the Spaniard is still considered a favorite. However, former Spanish player Alex Corretja believes otherwise.
In an interview via Eurosport, the Spaniard revealed that he is not expecting anything from Nadal because the tennis veteran doesn’t have anything left to prove. With 14 titles and a win/lose record of 112/3, Nadal is known as the ‘King of Clay’.

He made his comeback to this Barcelona Open and has since been able to play continuously. Although, he did not win any tournaments, but has been slowly improving his wins, and getting further and further in the tournaments.
Now, the Spaniard has another chance at the French Open title and will hope to be more competitive than ever to win his 15 titles in Paris. The tournament is set to begin in a couple of days, and fans will see their favorite player in action soon.

Spanish pro Rafael Nadal’s last lap at the French Open will commence in a few days. Despite his form, the memory of his last game at Roland Garros is sure to be a memorable one. No matter the result, Nadal is sure to get a grand exit from his home tournament.
In a recent interview ahead of the French Open, the Spaniard spoke about his chances at the Slam.

He has improved progressively in the last three tournaments and has beaten the top ATP players. Although he is still not in his best form, the Spaniard is still a favorite. Other players are struggling with a few injury concerns, and Nadal has a chance to stand out for one last time.
