The duo of Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter is continuing to impress the tennis world with their performances in their respective tournaments. After a tough clay court season, both of them shifted their gears towards the grass courts.
Boulter competed in the Nottingham Open while her boyfriend was 10 hours away, playing at the Hertogenbosch Open. Coincidently, both the tournaments began together and ended nearly at the same time.
Whereas de Minaur had started beautifully, Boulter was just getting dangerous. She had made it all the way to the semis, where she was on the verge of losing to Emma Raducanu, but held it together the next day and won the game only to play the finals in a couple of hours.
However, Boulter won the finals as well and celebrated the win in style while scolding her boyfriend for not being present at that moment.
I hope he’s listening to this because we’ve got some talking to do.Katie Boulter said after her win in Nottingham
de Minaur, on the other hand, also won his title in Hertogenbosch and was on a time crunch to make it to England. However, he did have a reply to what Boulter said.
Yeah, she has given me a little bit of slack. I think she kind of understands that maybe I was a little bit on a time constraint and I did my very best. But yeah, it was an unbelievable week for both of us.Alex de Minaur said in an interview with Sky Sports

Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter won titles at the same time for the second time this year
Tennis couple Alex de Mianur and Katie Boulter won their individual tournaments at the same time. However, that was not the first time this year, as they have already repeated this feat on the hard court. A couple of months earlier, Boulter was competing at the San Diego Open, while her boyfriend played at the Mexican Open.
Both of them had remarkable runs and won their respective titles. This year has been good for both of them, as they continue to add to the wins. de Minaur has cut into the Top 10, but his girlfriend is struggling to rise to the top. With Wimbledon coming up, all eyes will be on Boulter to perform on her home court and try to get a breakthrough in the rankings.
