Alexa Bliss took a hiatus from WWE following her match against Bianca Belair at the 2023 Royal Rumble PLE. The 33-year-old was pregnant with her first child and took a nearly two-year-long leave for the same. Thus, when she made her return to TV, fans were beyond excited to see what the promotion had in store for her, especially heading into WrestleMania season.

Speaking on The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp revealed that there were creative plans for Alexa Bliss for the biggest show of the year. However, she has now been pulled from all events over the Mania week in Las Vegas. He believed that she was supposed to take part in a tag team match for the show, plans of which are still up in the air.

This news came shortly after Bliss was removed from a scheduled appearance at WWE World, set to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 17 to 21. Many fans wondered if her omission occurred due to health complications or an injury. She also dropped an ambiguous message on X following this news breaking out.ย

They did have creative for her, but sheโ€™s been pulled from Mania Week stuff. Iโ€™m going to see what I can find out, but I have been askingโ€”Iโ€™ve absolutely been asking. I believe a tag team program was scheduled for her.

Bliss made her return to WWE during the 2025 Womenโ€™s Royal Rumble match. She entered at #21, much to the joy of the live crowd. Unfortunately, she was unable to pick up any eliminations and was eliminated by Liv Morgan after spending 11 minutes in the ring.

What could be the tag team match scheduled for Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 41?

Although no details were revealed about Alexa Blissโ€™ scheduled tag match for WrestleMania, there have been some speculations based on insider reports and hints dropped by WWE on TV. The 33-year-old has had several interactions with Liv Morgan ever since her return. In fact, the Womenโ€™s Tag Team Champion eliminated Little Miss Bliss from both the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber.

Bliss must be upset that the same woman cost her a WrestleMania world championship two times in a row. This would have prompted her to look for revenge. Considering Morgan is currently a womenโ€™s tag team champion alongside Raquel Rodriguez, the tag team program in question could have involved the Goddess going after the tag titles. The only question remains: who would have been her partner for this bout?ย

Previous reports stated that Bliss was scheduled for a major program for WrestleMania alongside The Wyatt Sicks. Considering her relationship with Bray Wyatt in the past, she could have joined the eerie faction during the weeks leading up to the show. This would then lead to her partnering up with Nikki Cross and going after the current champions at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Vince Russo wanted Alexa Bliss to win the Elimination Chamber

Alexa Bliss was one of the favorites heading into the Womenโ€™s Elimination Chamber match. She looked extremely strong throughout the match as well. Thus, fans found it highly shocking when she was eliminated by Liv Morgan. Many believe that her return to WWE should start off strong. A world championship match at WrestleMania is definitely the way to do that. It appears that Vince Russo is also a part of this camp.

Speaking on BroDown, Russo revealed that WWE must have given the Chamber win to Bliss. Furthermore, he believed that the promotion should have led with a strong and emotional angle featuring her relationship with Bray Wyatt. After all, she was wearing a Fiend jacket and etched in a letter to make it read out โ€œfriend.โ€ย

Russo said that WWE should have conducted a sit-down interview with her about the past two years and her absence. They should have discussed Bray Wyatt’s passing away and the impact that it had on her life. This wouldโ€™ve been a highly emotional segment, where the possible tears could have truly meant something.ย
