Alexa Bliss nearing her WWE return [via- WWE]
A couple of weeks ago, an outspoken fan on X called Alexa Bliss out for her unwillingness to return to WWE. The misinformed troll was soon humbled by the former 5-time Women’s Champion as she enlisted a no. of health problems she’s had over the last two years. But now the 34-year-old is ready to go. Better late than never, Bliss is due for a comeback pretty soon.
Per PWInsider, Alexa’s name has been repeatedly brought up in WWE creative circles of late. She’s expected to be back on TV by WrestleMania season, if not sooner. The company is figuring out ways to insert her back into storylines. Bliss’ fanatics would feel this couldn’t have happened any better. The reports of her in-ring WWE return just in time for WrestleMania sets her up as a dark horse for a major role at the Show of Shows.
Last November, Little Miss Bliss gave birth to a baby girl who was later named Hendrix. She recently turned one, and Alexa even took her to Disneyland on her first birthday. Bliss embraced motherhood just as much as she would’ve liked to, but it’s time to revert to her roots. The Goddess last wrestled Bianca Belair in a losing attempt at Royal Rumble 2023.
The two locked horns for the women’s title, where Bliss was way off her best and lost. Ever since then, Bliss has battled skin cancer, pre-eclampsia, and even some postpartum complications. If anything, her body must’ve taken a toll. After welcoming her daughter into his world, the Ohio-born wrestler was back in the gym. She’s been putting in the hard yards, which are likely to pay dividends.
What’s the likely route for Alexa Bliss’ WWE return?
As alluded to above, WWE is working on ways to reintroduce Alexa Bliss on its programming. The fans have been long clamoring for the return of her Goddess gimmick that won her a multitude of titles during her rookie years on the main roster.
However, as is known, she transitioned into an eerie figure in 2020, siding with the late Bray Wyatt. Although she considers her time with the real-life Windham Rotunda the best era of her career, her fans believe the other way around.
Nonetheless, it’d be interesting to see which version of Bliss makes it back. There have been rumors suggesting a potential link-up of Alexa with The Wyatt Sicks. Although there’s not been an explicit tease of the same, the possibility of it can’t simply be ruled out.
