In the most recent Bellator MMA PPV the featherweight champion Patricio Pitbull defended his title against Pedro Carvalho by scoring a first-round knockout in the fight. In this fight, Pitbull shocked the world by scoring a two minute knockout with a left hook followed by a right cross combo that floored Carvalho.

Following the post-match press conference, Pitbull says, “I’m not the best featherweight in Bellator. I’m the best featherweight in the world. No other featherweight has my hand. I’m complete now; I have 11knockouts and 11 submissions. There’s no other featherweight in the world that is as complete as I am”.

After his exceptional performance Bellator CEO Scoot Coker says, “We are lucky to have him. He’s been a great fighter for us. He’s been a great ambassador for us. He was here even way before me. I’ll tell you what, I looked back and I saw a lot of his old clips over the last week, just looking around on our YouTube channels and different places.”

Volkanovski shared his response on Twitter

Alex Volkanovski

The UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski defended his title against the likes of some of the UFC’s greatest fighters such as Max Holloway and defeated the contenders like Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo. It is quite obvious that he doesn’t like it.

Alex shared his response with a Tweet that says, “Pitbull is the best featherweight in the world”. Volkanovski is being matched to face Brain Ortega now who emerged as the number one contender in his fight against ‘The Korean Zombie’ and with this win, he would like to state that he isn’t less than anyone.

Pitbull has also beaten UFC’s newest singing Michael Chandler once but Volkanovski would like to show him that featherweight is no joke and he rules it by himself
