Breaking: Alexander Zverev’s domestic violence case settled out-of-court; no admission of guilt by the German

German tennis ace Alexander Zverev‘s domestic violence case has been settled outside the court. Although the case was under trial in Berlin, it is being reported that the two parties have reached an out-of-court settlement. It has also been reported that there was no admission of guilt by Zverev.
A Berlin-based journalist shared an update about Zverev’s ongoing domestic violence case and claimed that it has been settled now. The tennis player’s lawyer confirmed it on Friday that Zverev has agreed for an out-of-court settlement.

It is worth mentioning that Alexander Zverev was ordered to pay a hefty fine by a Berlin court in October last year in the domestic violence allegations by his ex-girlfriend Brenda Patea. However, the German tennis ace challenged the decision and the trial for the same was underway in Berlin this week. Now, as it has been revealed, Zverev has managed to settle the case outside the court.
Alexander Zverev agrees for settlement in interest of his child
Alexander Zverev agreed to an out-of-court settlement in the interest of the child he has with his ex-girlfriend Brenda Patea. Zverev’s lawyer made the revelations as they claimed that the court closed the case on Friday after both parties agreed to settle things outside of it.
It was also revealed that the agreement, according to German media, includes a monetary condition of €200,000 ($217,820), with the player not found guilty of any wrongdoing.

Notably, it is worth mentioning that this was the second domestic violence case against Zverev and the German has found a way out yet again. In 2023, the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) closed an investigation that was launched after another ex-girlfriend, tennis player Olga Sharypova, accused Zverev of domestic abuse. The ATP cited insufficient evidence as its reason for dropping the case.
